Kimlea Girls Technical Centre is a project of Kianda Foundation that was started in 1992 with the aim of boosting the education and general welfare of women in Kenya. The institution offers technical courses that impart professional skills on its students, thus enabling them to be employed or self-employed on the completion of the programs.

Kimlea specializes in hospitality training. The students can choose between taking either long-term or short-term courses. Long-term courses span 2 years, are full time and entail a comprehensive level of intensive training. In addition, short courses are about 2-6 months, mainly focus on sharpening skills and are excellent for students who prefer flexible timetables. Generally, this training enable students perform efficiently in any demanding hospitality setting.
